Mom & Daughter aprons

Not for me.  I don't think my boy's would appreciate matching butterfly aprons.  But I know someone who would ~ my sister in law and my niece.

When they were here last, my darling niece (who's 4) mentioned that she needed a butterfly apron while we were mixing up some cookies.  Well, I wouldn't want to deny that, would I?  I mean, she is just so cute! Then I saw this great fabric on clearance.  It was meant to be.

My nieces' apron has an appliqued butterfly on the front.

And a little embroidered tag with her inital at the waist.

Her mom's has a double pocket with a cute little tag made from the fabric label.

Matching mom & daughter aprons ~ just in time for Mother's Day.

and here she is:
pretty as a butterfly.

  7. Oh, how cute! I agree - pictures! I made mother and daughter aprons for my three girls and four grands for Christmas a few years back. They still wear them, especially for cookie baking.

  13. There just " Beautiful ", I haven't had time yet to sew, I have a pile of project's to do on the sewing table, maybe I'll get to them on the next " rainy day ". This past " Christmas ", I gave my three " sister's ", a ' cook book ", and a " apron ", one's was a " cookie cookbook ", with some " vintage cookie cutter's, one was a " bread cookbook ", with a " big spoon ", and one was a " tart cookbook ", with a " tart pan ", all the apron's , I got from the " Ross Store ", they were all vintage and cost less than ten dollar's a piece, it worked out really well, and they really liked the gift, and I signed all there book's, I just wrote a little something , " It's A Good Thing ".
