Lasso Christmas Wreath

What do you do with an old lasso at Christmas time?
Make it into a wreath, of course!

All you need is a lasso,
a few sprigs of greenery with berries and pinecones,
a big red bow,
and some raffia throw in for good measure,
And there you have it!

A fitting Christmas wreath for a barn door,
don't you think?

  4. Love it, but I don't have a lasso. Hum, wonder if barb wire will work? I have some of thatand it's rusty. I'm sure a little harder to make a couple of loops but you have given me and idea! Thanks!!

  8. I have to admit I was a copy cat on this one. I saw a wreath (although not a Christmas one) at a rodeo silent auction earlier this year. I tucked away the idea for Christmas. Since we had the lasso, it cost less than $8. And that made me even happier with the way it turned out!

  11. Well, I didn't make a wreath out of a lasso, but my "tinsel" on my Cowboy Christmas Tree is nothing but a genuine rope, found on the farm!

Hop over to my blog and take a look at my tree and all my Texas/Cowboy decor.

  13. Great look! I don't have one, so I took the live wreath my sister sent, swapped out the red bow and stick-ins for blues and for a few bucks, I have just what I love even more!
