Another Ewe Lamb

Very early this morning, while we were catching some ZZZZs,
Izzy had a little girl lamb.

Zinnia
She was big ~ 7 lbs. 10 oz.

Sire: Sherack Dually
Dam: Sherack Izzy

More to come later, both lambs and photos.  Back out to the barn for now.

  2. You don't know how fortunate you are.
"While we were catching some zzzzzz's..." When we used to have goats, there was no sleeping. I had to play OB for just about every delivery!Your ewes are very cooperative:)Congratulations! Zinnia is adorable.

  5. We might have a Daisy. We are going with names of flowers (for girls) and trees (for boys) that grow in Oklahoma. Wayne picked Zinnia because Izzy's name has Zs.

Bella (Izzy's twin) is overdue and not happy about her sis being in the barn without her. She will probably lamb just to be with sis. It's kind of looking like it anyway. We'll see.

  9. Cute! My daughter and I enjoy these baby photos. She wonders if they'll grow up to make goat cheese like she enjoys eating at our farmers' market.
