Meet Hawthorn

In keeping with our Oklahoma flower and tree theme, we named another boy today.

Hawthorn

 A Hawthorn tree is:
Resilient.
Even though he had to be pulled because he was so big,
he was up on all fours before his momma got back up.

Showy
He has great spots!
Black socks, knees, tipped ears.
He even has an Elvis side.
He's bound to be a star!

Thorny
He has four big horn buds.
Hopefully they will grow in with good spacing.

& Brilliant.
Yes, that's Hawthorn.

10 lbs. 5 oz.
dam: Moose Mountain Chili
sire: Kenleigh's Merlin
