Kim they are absolutely gorgeous! When we lived in the Victorian house we had two bushes that the previous owners had planted years ago. They bloomed like crazy! I love your garden area and the photo where you can see your driveway in the background. You have such a pretty place in the country. Our roses haven't bloomed yet but it won't be long now. I hope you're doing ok down there with all the storms they're predicting this weekend. Stay safe! Maura
Love all those gorgeous blooms!!! Knockouts r so great to gave around! Any flower that provides color all season long it a must have in my book!! Thx for sharing ;)
Definitely a knock out! Me... I'm still trying to enjoy the benefits of a late spring snow. In April. Yes, our unpredictable spring has teased us and left us white, so my roses are still asleep. Enjoy your blossoms!
I "need" a few new flowers this spring...it looks like these are winners! So...are they easy to grow and do they bloom all spring & summer? (Not fussy like the older variety we have?) -Mary
Knockouts are easiest of roses! They are insect and disease resistant and don't need pruning. They bloom all spring and summer and well into the fall here. We have a dozen of them on the farm. All of them are "red" although I think they look hot pink.
It's just starting to green up and I've given up on more snow. I think it is safe, and we have time this week, to change out the snowblower for the lawn mower on the John Deere. Your flowers are beautiful and enough to inspire...now if I can just keep that new dog out of his dirt digging, I might have some flowers myself!!
Wow! Enjoy. Hope you are escaping the wind we're getting in NM!
ReplyDeleteOurs aren't there yet...but they are waking up and coming alive! I just love them....ordered more to plant this year!
ReplyDeleteThese are BEAUTIFUL!!!
