The TV has left the living room

We had been talking about removing the television from the main part of our house for a while but it took a lightning strike to get it out of there.

It's been a month now and I must say, I really like it.

We still have two tvs:

(although we did cut the cable)

one in our room

and one for the boys in the rec room

but the one in the living room is gone.

The space feels more peaceful without it.

In it's place we hung the blacksmith sign that Wayne bought me when we moved into the farmhouse. Books about farming took the place of the tv components.

I'm quite happy with the result!

I don't know why we didn't do it sooner.

Lord, you establish peace for us;

all that we have accomplished you have done for us.
