J2 Jumping!

Jonah has started lessons in English equitation and hunter jumper.

He absolutely loves the feeling of flying through the air on a horse.

And even though he has just started, his instructor seems to think he has natural talent.  He doesn't give compliments easily so I have a hunch, he may be right.

Regardless, that smile says it all!

We are thrilled that he is finding his fit in the world of horsemanship.

Proverbs 21:31
The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but the victory belongs to the Lord.

  1. How exciting! I have loved jumping ever since one of my previous riding instructors let me do a small jump. When I was older, I got to do some fun, short jumps. Because we weren't more experienced in riding, we only did it once, but I enjoyed it so much; I didn't want to stop! My brother and I haven't gotten to ride in a few years, but we made some wonderful memories on horses together. Thanks for sharing; it brought back fun memories of horse-riding lessons.

  5. Jumping is highly addictive. :) This July at the State Fair arena there is a Hunter/Jumper show and I believe they might have a Grand Prix. He might really enjoy watching that.
