Not a creature was stirring

not even a candy mouse.

My sweet neighbor brought us these cute little mice nestled on a plate of Christmas cookies. What a clever idea!

I just had to make some. You should make some too.
All you need is:
maraschino cherries with stems
melting chocolate
Hershey's Kisses
almond slivers
red gel icing

Be sure to rinse the cherries and allow them to dry overnight so the chocolate will stick.

Melt chocolate in small saucepan.

While it's melting unwrap Kisses.
Eat a few (optional).

Dunk cherries in chocolate and give them a little spin to remove excess.

Lay chocolate covered cherries on parchment paper.
Immediately lean a Hershey's Kiss against the stem-less side of the cherry.
Add two almond slivers for ears and let dry.

Add gel eyes and noses to your sweet creatures.

Oh, so cute!
Yummy, Christmas mice.

For unto us a Child is born,
unto us a Son is given;
and the government shall be upon His shoulder;
and His name shall be called Wonderful,
Counselor,
The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
