Ground Lamb Sliders

 It's one of our new favorites!
The fact that they are super fast and super easy is a bonus this time of year.
I don't know about your family but for us, back to school time means back to school activities in the evening too.  That means I need to be able to slide dinner on the table with lightning speed before someone has to head back out the door.

Lamb Sliders are the perfect quick meal for that!

Ground lamb mini patties~ 5 minutes on the grill ~ done.
French bread ~ 5 minutes under the broiler ~ done.
Slide in a salad and dinner is served.
See, told you they were super fast!

Here's the easy part: 1,2,3.

1.  I buy french bread at Sam's and stockpile it in the freezer.
You can ask for it frozen and bake it yourself.  It's better that way!
Slice it at an angle.  Top with butter, garlic powder & oregano and broil until brown and crispy.

2.  Form ground lamb (you can use beef instead but it won't be as good) into balls the size of golf balls.  Press into patty shapes.  Salt and pepper both sides generously.  Grill on high heat for 5 minutes or until medium rare.  Lamb should always be cooked medium rare.

3.  Stack up the sliders and drizzle with Caesar dressing
or whatever topping you choose.  We just love Newman's Caesar around here.  Seriously, I stockpile it too.

If you haven't had lamb before, this recipe is a great non-threatening way to try it.  Bet your family will love them.
Slide Lamb Sliders on the table and watch them disappear.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
