Ace aka Cowboy
Meet the newest member of Rockin' S-Squared Farm.
A cute yearling paint colt! We are just starting out with horses and never really thought about getting one this young, until we saw him listed on Westway's website. The Wests helped get us started on the right foot with lessons and advice. They are a constant source of encouragement. Between them and our trainer (Dan) here in Yukon that comes for an afternoon each week, we're confident we can handle this little guy. We know he will be an excellent horse for our youngest son someday. And look at him ~ he's adorable! We are anxiously awaiting the snow to melt so we can bring him home. Until then he is finishing his month-long halter training.
His name is Won Royal Tradition but his barn name is Ace. But wait, take a look at his side in the photo. Do you see a cowboy with a branding iron working with a cow on the ground? This is sure sign that he is going to make a great cow horse! We just might have to call him Cowboy.
Ashley West made this video for us. It's really cute!!! I know she hates to let him go. But he is going to love it here on the farm. If you ever need a cow horse, they are the ones to go to. Stop by and see them at Westway Training Facility.
Flashy!
