Bowl and pitcher
Every farmhouse needs a white bowl and pitcher. Last week, I was graciously given one by our pastor's wife. We were at their house for dessert and I made a comment about how pretty it was. The next thing I knew, she was sending it home with me! And to make it more special, she made it herself 30 years ago. Looking right at home, it's sitting on a table in our master bedroom. I really like it!

Your "old" farmhouse is beautiful (along with that pitcher & bowl). Can't wait to have some time to delve into your blog a little more. Found you through Verde Farm's linky party, I'll be back. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful and that was so sweet of her :)
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, Kim. So elegant.
ReplyDeleteHi there. Popped over from Verde Farm. Lovely place you have built here, and love that you're next door to the inlaws. What a great life you are giving your kids (and yourself!)
ReplyDeleteThat is sooo sweet! I have a small ironstone bowl that is oval and has two pitchers, kind of unusual but it was my grandmother's and I do treasure it.

ReplyDeleteHi there, I came over from Verde Farm today... love your blog, and your beautiful farmhouse!... I have always been a country girl in little rural towns... my husband and I built a farmhouse 25 years ago but sold when greedy developers bought up all the surrounding countryside... I would so love a place like yours again... I am anxious to read your older posts... also, your white pitcher and bowl are beautiful!... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty....I love bowl & pitchers....I have a large one that my husband bought me years ago and I also have a smaller one with hummingbirds on it that my mother bought me several years ago....but now after seeing yours, I want a white one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...
Stopping over from Verde Farm. Absolutely love the house you designed and built -- red is such a great color for farm houses.
