Sweet Savannah
After driving all the way to Florida
to drop off Jonah for his work/study,
a little rest and relaxation was in order.
A trip to Sweet Savannah, Georgia
was just what we needed.
Wayne & I spent the weekend
strolling the streets,
appreciating architecture,
peeking through garden gates,
touring museums,
discovering the neighborhood squares,
walking under the mossy trees,
seeing our first lighthouse
(even climbing to the top and walking around the outside!),
and making some new friends.
Our favorite part? It's hard to say, but
sitting on the porch of the Bed and Breakfast
overlooking Forsyth Park was pretty sweet!
How sweet are Your words to my taste!
Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Psalms 119:103
Sounds idyllic, a wonderful break.
